About us
The Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) is an organizational unit of IEEE, established in 2005. It advances the theoretical, experimental and practical aspects of electrical engineering and information technology applied to intelligent transportation systems.
To connect Nirma students with the global ITS community through expert lectures, hands-on workshops and projects in autonomous vehicles, smart traffic and connected mobility, turning classroom ideas into real-world transportation solutions.
Founded in 2025, the IEEE ITSS Nirma Chapter brings together students from Computer Engineering and beyond to bridge academia with real-world mobility innovation through applied AI and machine learning.
